The Semrush alternative that also writes the article
Nokofy and Semrush don't solve the same problem. Semrush is the best SEO database on the market. We're the shortest route from a real Google question to a published article. Those are two different things.
Kratak odgovor
If you need depth of data, history going back years and analysis across several markets — Semrush, without hesitation. If you need the job to be DONE (topic, a finished text you simply publish, tracking) in one subscription — Semrush doesn't cover that, because writing is charged separately.
Where Semrush is better
We’ll start with what’s true and doesn’t favour us.
The database. Semrush has around 27 billion keywords and covers over 140 countries, with historical data going back years. When you need to see how a keyword behaved three years ago, or compare ten markets at once, we have nothing to offer.
The backlink index. They’ve been building it for years and that can’t be copied. For serious link analysis, cleaning a profile after a penalty, or researching competitor links — Semrush is the right tool.
Auditing at scale. Their entry plan crawls 100,000 pages a month, the largest a million. Our largest plan goes up to ten thousand pages per audit. For a big shop that’s a real difference.
Everything else SEO covers. Competitor ad tracking, social media analysis, PPC tools, market research. We don’t do that and don’t plan to.
Where we’re better
Questions come from live search. Semrush has a question filter, but it draws them from its own database. We ask Google now — nineteen queries per keyword plus the „People also ask“ block with the answers Google is currently showing. The difference is between „this used to be searched“ and „this is being searched“.

The article is included, not an add-on. With us writing is part of the plan. With them the Content Toolkit is a separate $60-a-month subscription, limited to five articles that use real search data.
24 languages against eight. Their writing tool covers eight languages. We cover 24 — which decides whether you can work in markets outside the big ones at all.
The loop closes by itself. You get the article finished, read it and publish it on your own site — and the moment you publish, the keyword it came from enters rank tracking. You don’t have to copy it from one tool into another.
AI visibility tracking is in the plan. Whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude mention you when somebody asks for a recommendation — included in every plan with us, kept for the more expensive plans with them.

When to choose Semrush
- You work across several markets and need country-by-country comparison
- Backlink analysis is your daily job, not an occasional check
- You have a site with hundreds of thousands of pages
- You need keyword history going back years
- The client specifically asks for Semrush reports because they’re used to them
When to choose Nokofy
- You have one site or a few
- Your main problem is what to write and who will write it
- You want to see whether positions are moving without opening five reports
- You don’t want two subscriptions and a charge per article
- You work in a language the big tools don’t write in
Honestly: Semrush is a more mature product with a bigger team and a bigger database. We haven’t tried to overtake them at that — we’ve tried to solve the part of the job they don’t: letting one person with one site get the topic, the text and the tracking without three subscriptions.
Česta pitanja
Can I use both tools?
Of course, and it's common in agencies. Semrush for deep analysis and historical data, Nokofy for the daily work — question research, writing and tracking. If your budget is limited, the question is what you need more often: analysis once a month, or content every week.
Which languages does Semrush write in?
Its content writing tool supports eight: English (US and UK), Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, German and Portuguese. We write in 24. Its keyword database covers over 140 countries, which is a different thing — data about a market isn't the same as writing for that market.
Semrush has a Content Toolkit — isn't that the same as your generator?
Similar in idea, different in terms. The Content Toolkit is a separate subscription at $60 a month on top of the SEO plan, with five articles a month that use real SERP data (another ten costs $30).
How can you be cheaper if you do more?
We don't do more — we do narrower. We don't have an index of 27 billion keywords or five years of history, and that costs us far less. We're focused on one chain of work instead of everything SEO covers.
I'm moving from Semrush — can I bring my data across?
Tracked keywords and lists you can enter by hand or through a CSV export. Position history from Semrush doesn't transfer, but if you connect Google Search Console you get your own real history up to 16 months back — and we keep it forever, while Google deletes it afterwards.
