Refund Policy

Last updated:

Payments are processed by **Paddle** as the Merchant of Record. This means your purchase contract is with Paddle, Paddle issues the invoice and **Paddle executes every refund** — we neither charge you nor refund you directly. Requests are handled in line with the Paddle refund policy and applicable consumer protection law. All prices are final: tax is included and there are no extra charges at checkout.

1. The general rule

  • Except where a refund is required by law or by Paddle rules, **paid subscriptions and purchased credits are non-refundable**.
  • Paddle may grant a refund **at its discretion**, as a rule within 14 days of the charge. Submitting a request **does not guarantee approval** — the decision also takes into account how much of the service was used and the reason for the request.
  • If a refund is approved, **access to paid features ends** and the account returns to the free plan.
  • This rule exists because every analysis consumes real resources we pay third parties for (search data, AI processing, speed measurements) — those costs cannot be undone retroactively.

2. Subscriptions (PRO and BUSINESS)

  • **Cancel at any time.** You cancel from account settings, no questions asked and no fee. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep using the plan normally until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • **The unused part of a period is not refunded** — instead of a refund, you use the service until the end of the paid period.
  • **Charges made in error** (double charge, a charge after cancellation, a technical fault on our side) are always corrected — contact us and we fix it right away.
  • Before buying, you can try the free plan without a card to see whether the tool suits you.

3. Credits and consumption

  • A credit is consumed the moment the service is delivered (an article written, an analysis performed). **Consumed credits are not refundable.**
  • If a refund is approved, **the credits from that purchase are voided**. If they were already spent, the credit balance goes negative and is covered by the next purchase or plan renewal.
  • We record usage per account (number of analyses, site crawls, AI runs). That data is used to assess a refund request fairly — for you and for us.

4. Your statutory rights

This policy **does not limit** the rights you have under consumer protection law in your country, including the right of withdrawal where it applies.

Nokofy is a digital service supplied immediately upon purchase. For such services the right of withdrawal may be limited or lost to the extent permitted by law — where the customer expressly consented to the service starting immediately and acknowledged this at checkout. That consent is collected in the Paddle checkout, and the final decision on a request is made by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.

5. How to request a refund

  • Write to us from your account email and state what was purchased, when, and why you are requesting a refund.
  • We reply within one business day. If the request is justified, we forward it to Paddle — under Paddle rules we do not pay refunds directly.
  • You can also submit the request directly to Paddle, via the link in the invoice you received by email after the purchase.

Requests go to: podrska@nokofy.com.

6. Payout timeline

Paddle returns an approved refund to the payment method used for the purchase, usually within 5 to 10 business days — the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.

7. Abuse

  • Refunds are not granted where there is evidence of fraud or abuse of the refund system (for example: buy, consume resources, immediately request a refund — in a repeated pattern).
  • In the case of a chargeback, access to paid features and credits is revoked immediately.
